What to expect when working with me

This page includes key details about my therapy practice — including philosophy, treatment approaches, session options, rates, insurance, and how I offer care. If you have questions or need anything clarified, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Individual Therapy

I offer one-on-one therapy for adults navigating life stress, trauma, anxiety, OCD, relational challenges, self exploration, and moments of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in real tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

Philosophy of Care

My practice is rooted in respect, non-judgment, and a belief in each person’s capacity to grow. Therapy is a collaborative space where your voice, values, and lived experience guide the process.

Session Frequency & Duration

Most clients start with weekly 50-minute sessions. As therapy progresses, we may shift to biweekly depending on your goals and needs. Long-term or short-term work is available based on your preferences.

Therapeutic Approaches

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches depending on your needs and goals. My work is integrative, relational, and focused on helping you move toward a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and free.

Common therapeutic approaches I use in practice include:
  • Trauma-Focused Therapy – resolving past wounds that impact the present
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – for trauma, stuck memories, and negative self-beliefs
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) – building resilience and freedom from OCD and avoidance-based patterns
  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) – value-based action, even when life is hard
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – understanding and shifting patterns of thought and behavior
  • Mindfulness & Somatic Awareness – connecting to your body, emotions, and present-moment experience
  • Attachment-Based Therapy – exploring how past relationships shape current connection
  • Parts Work / IFS-Inspired Therapy – supporting and integrating inner “parts” of the self
  • Re-Parenting & Inner Child Work – healing emotional wounds and unmet needs
  • Client-Centered & Relational Therapy – grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration

Good Faith Estimates

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Upon request, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
