Trauma Focused Therapy

Moving From Surviving Towards Thriving

A Confident Path Forward

Trauma changes how we see ourselves, others, and the world — but it does not define who you are or what’s possible for you. Healing is possible when you have the right tools, guidance, and space to do the work.

Whether your trauma comes from a single life-changing event or years of painful experiences, our work together is focused, intentional, and designed to help you reclaim a sense of safety, connection, and control in your life. We’ll go at a pace that honors your readiness and helps you move toward healing.

What Trauma Focused Therapy Can Help With

Clients often come to me for help with:
  • PTSD and complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
  • Childhood abuse, neglect, or family dysfunction
  • Relationship or attachment wounds
  • Emotional, physical, or sexual abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Medical trauma
  • Accidents or natural disasters
  • Spiritual or religious trauma

My Approaches To Trauma Focused Therapy

Trauma is deeply personal, and so is the path to healing. There is no “one-size-fits-all,” but there are proven methods that work — and I use them every day with clients who are ready to do the work.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can help target and reprocess stuck memories so they have less control over your life.

ERP

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) can help break cycles of avoidance and fear.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help anchor you to your values and help you take action towards the life you want.

Somatic / Mindfulness

Somatic and Mindfulness based approaches can help reconnect you with your body and a sense of safety.

Attachment

Attachment Based Therapy can help heal relational wounds and build secure connections.

IFS

Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work can help integrate and heal the different "parts" of your story.
I believe in a balance of compassion and direct action — listening deeply, but also giving you practical ways to move forward.

What You Can Expect

  • A therapy space that’s safe, nonjudgmental, and focused on progress
  • A clear plan tailored to your history and goals
  • Tools to manage triggers and reduce overwhelm
  • A collaborative pace that builds confidence and resilience
  • The opportunity to truly process and let go of what’s been holding you back

Why Clients Choose This Work

I don’t just offer a place to “talk” — I offer a structured, proven, and adaptable approach to help you heal. My clients often tell me they feel seen, understood, and equipped in ways they hadn’t before. If you’re ready to stop feeling trapped by your past, lets work together towards your healing.

"Not sure if this is right for you? Reach out anytime - I'm happy to answer any of your questions, no commitments required."
